Supernatural is an American fantasy horror television series created by Eric Kripke. It was first broadcast on September 13, 2005, on The Warner Bros and subsequently became part of successor. Starring Jared Padalacki as Sam Winchester and Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester, the series follows the two brothers as they hunt demons, ghosts, monsters, and other supernatural beings in the world. The series is produced by Warner Bros Television, in association with Wonderland Sound and Vision. Along with Eric, executive producers have been McG, Robert Singer, Phil Sgriccia, Sera Gamble, Jeremy Carver, John Shiban, Ben Edlund and Adam Glass. Former executive producer and director Kim Manners died of lung cancer during production of the fourth season.

The series is filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia and surrounding areas and was in development for nearly ten years, as creator Eric spent several years unsuccessfully pitching it. The pilot was viewed by an estimated 5.69 million viewers, and the ratings of the first four episodes prompted The Warner Bros to pick up the series for a full season. Originally, Eric planned the series for three seasons but later expanded it to five. The fifth season concluded the series' main storyline, and Eric departed the series as showrunner. The series has continued on for several more seasons with Sera Gamble and Jeremy Carver assuming the role of showrunner. The series was renewed for an eleventh season, which premiered on October 7, 2015. With its eleventh season, Supernatural became the longest-running North American science-fiction.The series originally focuses primarily on the brothers Sam and Dean Winchester they travel throughout the country hunting down evil supernatural creatures, mostly demons.

This television drama is about two brothers, Sam and Dean, who were raised by their father, John, to hunt and kill all things that go "bump in the night" after his wife, Mary, was murdered by evil supernatural being when the boys were young. 22 years later the brothers set out on a journey, fighting evil along the way, to find their recently missing father who, when they finally meet up with, reveals he knows what killed their mother, a demon, and has found a way to track and kill it.
Meanwhile, Sam starts to develop frightening abilities that include death visions, visions of people dying before it actually happens. These visions are somehow connected to the demon who murdered his mother and its mysterious plans that seem to be all about Sam. When their father dies striking a deal with the very same demon that had killed his wife, the brothers, now alone and without their mentor, are determined to finish the crusade their father started. But disturbing revelations about Sam's part in the demon's apocalyptic plans are presented when John's dying last words to Dean are revealed.

They hunt down evil supernatural creatures such as monsters, demons, and even fallen gods while trying to save innocent people along the way. Continuing the "family business"  the brothers soon discovered that the "hunt" doesn't just involve slashing and hacking monsters and demons but also dealing with more powerful creatures such as angels, reapers, and even Death.

The boys as "HUNTERS" of all things evil. Their motto: SAVING PEOPLE, HUNTING THINGS, THE FAMILY BUSINESS. With the help of a few other hunters, traveling cross country, killing as many monsters as possible and saving as many people as they can. And at the same time they learn that "Family don't end with blood". They will do whatever it takes to save each other and their "FAMILY". Going up against demons, vampires, werewolves, shape shifters , demigods, witches, the four horsemen and even angels among other things. They lose family and find new people they call family. They have gone to heaven and hell for each other and will do it all over again. Cause that's what family does and "Family don't end with blood".

I would rate this 5/5 because it's one of my favourite shows on earth. The age group for this show would be 13 and up. I thought this show was hilarious, stupid, immature characters some of episodes were ok but most of the eps were brilliant.
