​Stranger Things is a dystopian Horror Fiction Series based in the 1980's, created and directed by Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer, better known as 'The Duffer Brothers'. They have also directed 'Hidden' and some episodes of 'Wayward Pines'. Season one of Stranger Things was released on Netflix in July of 2016. The Duffer Brothers have said  season two won't be released till 2017. 
 
Will Byer (Noah Schnapp) is on his way home from his friend’s house when a monster crosses his path. All of Hawkins town is curious of what actually happened to him...especially his mother (Winona Ryder). She is sure something else happened to Will other than 'getting lost' or 'killed'. His friends Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) are sure that Will got taken by a monster named the Demogorgon. They go on a journey to find Will but what the actually find is a young girl with many psychokinetic gifts named Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown). And she knows exactly where Will is. 
 
Stranger Things is an exciting, emotional and sometimes terrifying series. I really enjoyed this series, although I would rather if the children had more main roles in this season. 
 
I would recommend this series to any teen who loves Dystopian/Thrilling movies or shows. I would definitely give Stranger Things a 9/10!
