Sherlock

Picture

This show is a thrilling adventure of Conan Doyle’s best works put into a motion picture. Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman star in this 21st century version of the 1915 classic.
If you enjoy the original plot and characters like Irene Adler, Mycroft Holmes, Greg Lastrade, Mrs Hudson, Mary Watons and of course Moriarty, John Watson and Sherlock Holmes you should enjoy the 21st century twist even though Sherlock’s deerstalker is no more and his pipe has been replaced with nicotine patches.

The show has different take on the structure of shows themselves. Where usual has an excessive amount of episode per season there is only three episodes per season and they only release a new season every two years but every episode is ninety minutes long so essentially you’re getting three mini movies per season.

Every third episode, which is the last episode of the series, has a cliffhanger that will probably having you scream at the tv saying ‘MOFFFAAT’ or ‘MAARK’ (the writers). Every episode is not forgotten its usually brought back into a later episode, so every episode ties the whole story together.

In my opinion the Tv series is better than the Robert Dowing Jr. movie franchise.
