Portal is a sci-fi, futuristic puzzle game where you are a test subject who’s woken up in a strange facility called Aperture Science and there’s a booming, slightly auto-tune voice called GlaDOS telling you what to do. You must complete all the test chambers until you get to test chamber 19, which is the last test chamber.
The game involves many original ideas such as turrets, floating platforms, floating plasma spheres that kill you on impact and the almighty portal gun. The portal gun uses two portals, the red and blue portals, to help you complete the level. The portals use physics as in, if you were to go very fast through the portal, you would be fast going out.
The story circles around the post-apocalyptic world you seem to have woken up in, where humans are slaves to robots. There are many secrets you can find by going through slightly open walls and pressing buttons and running quickly through openings. I’d recommend this game for anyone who isn't scared easily and who is around 13+. It's a very interesting game by a company called Valve who invented steam, a large program for buying games online, playing with friends and gifting friends games.
